Note from Amy Glennon:
I recently had the opportunity to visit Judith Jain’s home studio in Tampa Florida. It was a special day, because this was the last day that Judith was teaching in her home studio. Judith is now teaching at her new academy, New Tampa Piano and Pedagogy Academy in Tampa, Florida.
I had the pleasure of visiting some dynamic group classes. The student loved performing pieces and listening to one another. They also loved playing Judith’s special reinvention of popular board games. The most popular? “Sorry!” I later videotaped Judith explaining exactly how she adapted the game for music classroom use. Stay tuned for more games tomorrow.
